Our Pets:
Marley-Chesapeake Bay Retriever
We adopted Marley from the Humane Society in 2005 and he was work in progress from the beginning. He was about a year old when we adopted him. He's a gun shy hunting dog who would not listen. His first 5 minutes in the house he peed on the DVD Tower, chased the cats and growled at our old dog. Two months later he was a well behaved, happier, house broken ball of energy who loves swimming, his buddy Sandy, swimming in the ocean and jumping off docks.
Marley's Surgeries/Treatments:
We were on vacation in Palm Springs, driving in the middle of nowhere, when Lisa pointed out a little ball of white fur in the distance. We pulled over and yelled to the frantic little pooch. As fast as her little legs could take her, she sprinted down the road and jumped into the car. Since then our life has been just a little more crazy, okay, a lot more. She is very cute but very feisty and lives up to her combined breeds potentials. She took a lot of work, especially towards other dogs, but has become perfect playmate for Marley, the cats and baby alike.
Thomas and
Monster were both Kittens dropped off in Veterinary Clinics, looking for a home. Thomas had a huge umbilical hernia and Monster had a prepuce issue. They were from separate parts of the country but once together they became inseparable. They have never fought a day in their live and when one is sick, the other is wreck.
